[Abstract] Terrors of the nights are our inability to realize that we cannot strive without God. The terrors are not just the traumatic failures that we had. But they are the ignorance in our belief that non-godly ways can truly save us. We ought to put down our pride and truly repent. The former induces ignorance and the later shifts our focus worldly things to God.
Hezekiah initially depended on the world. But the world gave him no way out. At his wit’s end, he understood that he needed help. He finally asked Isaiah for help and turned to the Lord. God finally delivered him.
