“From the Himalayas to Hearts: A Journey of Faith, Impact, and Transformation”

Chen Ke Ming, a New Jersey native, and Jenny, his wife from Canada, shared an update on their 12 year mission work in  South-east Asia — a region situated between China and India.
They highlighted how many people in this region had not heard of Jesus initially, but over the years, many have become believers. The couple has a family with three boys and also cares for 16 children from underprivileged backgrounds.
They mainly focused on running a House of Prayer, providing a space for continuous worship and prayer. Additionally, they run a business that employs women in need, combining job opportunities with sharing the love of Jesus. Ke Ming and Jenny also train pastors and leaders in a Bible training school, emphasizing discipleship. Their graduates have started prayer rooms and ministries in various areas.
They have distributed over 5000 Bibles and continue with outreach efforts. They shared impactful stories, including one about a mother’s prayer leading her son back to faith. The couple is committed to sharing the Gospel, nurturing believers, and positively impacting local people.
Ke Ming and Jenny also shared about another aspect of their work where students from their organization are becoming missionaries. They visit villages, pray for the sick, share the gospel, and screen the Jesus movie. Despite challenges like sleeping outside due to malaria-prone mosquitoes, they’ve seen transformations. For instance, a man gave up his Hindu beliefs, leading to positive changes in his community.
Throughout their message, they emphasized the importance of living out their faith, proving that Jesus is better through actions, not just words. They answered questions about mental health, casting out demons, and interacting with other religions.
Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism are traditionally dominant religions. Sharing the gospel involves listening to the Lord and building relationships. Prayer is a cornerstone of their daily life and ministry, connecting them to Jesus and guiding their actions. Their ultimate goal is worship, extending beyond missions or work.
