【2Pet1:1】Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
【2Pet1:2】Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
【2Pet1:3】as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
【2Pet1:4】by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
【2Pet1:5】But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,
【2Pet1:6】to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness,
【2Pet1:7】to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
【2Pet1:8】For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
【2Pet1:9】For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
【2Pet1:10】Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
【2Pet1:11】for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
【2Pet3:10】But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
【2Pet3:11】Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
【2Pet3:12】looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
【2Pet3:13】Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
【2Pet3:7】But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
【1Tim3:15】but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
【1Tim3:16】And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:God was manifested in the flesh,Justified in the Spirit,Seen by angels,Preached among the Gentiles,Believed on in the world,Received up in glory.
【Col3:4】When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
【Eph3:10】to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
【2Tim3:12】Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

【1Tim6:6】Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
【1Tim6:7】For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
【1Tim6:8】And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.
【1Tim6:9】But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
【1Tim6:10】For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
【1Tim6:11】But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
【1Jn3:14】We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
【1Jn5:1】Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.
